I'll post what i can of it here. got this guy...he's got a server room the size of hazel's old living room. he has 8 tons worth of AC in it and he insists on keeping it about 62 degrees. He literally has only 2 racks in there, unventilated as they may be. He can't understand why the equipment can't stay there indefinitely. This guy calls me like every 10 minutes saying he's worried the equipment isn't working. this guy is literally driving me insane. He seems to think if that room gets above 70 he's gonna lose all of his equipment...think he's paranoid much?
I dropped a data logger in the room last week and he was getting the temperature down to About 61 degrees. I know those servers have a max temp of about 95 degrees, and he's keeping the room at 60...and wonders why he's killing equipment.
Not much to say about me really. I'm 27 years old and according to my profile I live in Portland Maine. I just moved back up from Pensacola, Florida. I guess some would call me "interesting". I dunno, but there are probably much worse adjectives out there that a few would use...but you know what. I don't really care about what they have to say. I have a little boy named Patrick who, at the time I'm writing this is 9 months old. If you think I'm gonna update that every month you're nuts so I leave the burden of the math up to you.

About 65-70...only because people come in and out a lot.

Yeah that dude needs some help. I would only worry w/ 2 racks if that room got above 75.
I say put a lock on the control panel so he can't check or change the temp. We had to do that to and admin who kept fucking with the temp.
