Well as of yesterday morning I had crossed the 40,000 word mark. It was a great relief, especially since the words just seemed to flow yesterday and I had 4,000 words under my belt before I even knew it, which was my goal for yesterday, just so i could break 40K and take maybe a day or two off. There's a story or two that I've been neglecting since I started NaNo and I should really get back to those. I need a change of venue for a day or two.
